2023
Egypt
In collaboration with IHE Delft, World Water Academy was responsible for the development of a tailor-made course and providing an expert trainer. Course coordinator Bram Ooms was involved in the preparation of the course. Our water expert Helle van der Roest provided the training in Cairo in close collaboration with water experts Hadeel Hosney and Peter van der Steen from IHE Delft.
2020 - 2022
Amman (Jordan)
In 2020 the OKP project WATRA started, a collaboration between Al-Balqa’ Applied University (BAU) in Jordan, IHE Delft and World Water Academy. The project aims to contribute to end hunger, double smallholder productivity and income and ensure the sustainability and resilience of food production systems by 2030. Within the project span of two years a total of 84 drinking water and wastewater professionals took part in hands-on training courses.
2014
Oman
WWA prepared and executed a benchmark with the Training Center of Haya Water in the second half of 2014. In three shifts, the staff members and the management (in total five persons) came over to the Netherlands to learn about the philosophy and the procedures of Wateropleidingen.
