Bridging the Water in South Africa
Nuffic has selected ‘Bridging the water: co-create to learn & experience’ as the Orange Knowledge Program for institutional collaboration for South Africa. The project aims to strengthen water education & training sustainably in South Africa. The project starts in February 2019 and runs until the end of 2021. Various Dutch and South African partners work together in the project ‘Bridging the water’. TUDelft, Wateropleidingen/World Water Academy (delegated project manager), HS Rotterdam, CEW Leeuwarden and Waterschap Brabantse Delta on the Dutch side and University of Cape Town, Durban University of Technology, Salga, City of Cape Town and Ethekwini from South Africa.
WAter Treatment and Reuse in Agriculture in Jordan
The OKP project Strengthening skills development for WAstewater Treatment and Reuse in Agriculture in Jordan (WATRA) started in January 2020 with an inception mission. WATRA is planned to contribute to ensure the sustainability and resilience of food production systems and contribute to ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation. The practical concept and experience of World Water Academy combined with the research, academic and local knowledge of our partners IHE Delft and Al-Balqa Applied University (BAU) creates a complementary collaboration for multiple level education. WATRA combines the best practices of Jordan and The Netherlands.
