The personally identifiable information you provide through this website will only be used for the purpose for which you have left behind. For example, if you fill out your name and address to receive our monthly digital newsletter, then these are not used to send you any other digital expressions.

Data can, however, be used for detection, if offences are committed via the website or criminal statements are being made (and further exceptions as set out in article 43 Data Protection Act). Personal data are kept only for the purpose for which the data are requested.

To all processing of personal data, only the data that you yourself left behind are being used. If so-called information profiles are being tracked, then those are used only to make the website more responsive to the needs of the user and is communicated in advance. Data Protection Act

When processing personal data, the personal Data Protection Act (DPA) will be followed. This law helps to protect the privacy of citizens. This means that personal data submitted via internet are collected, stored, used, or made available in any other form, related, as well as shielded, under this law.

On the basis of the DPA the person shall be informed before personal data are processed and also being notified of the purpose for which it is collected (article 33). So personal information is only processed if that is expressly stated and only for the reason for which the data are stored.

What are personal data?

Under "personal data" is defined as data that is traceable to an "identified or identifiable natural person". That means that the name of a person to whom the information refers is known, or that that person can be traced. Example of a personal nature is a name of a person or a home address, but also email addresses can be personal data.
