2025 was a year of growth, connection and innovation for World Water Academy.
Together with our partners, trainers and participants, we continued to strengthen future-proof education and training for a resilient and future-oriented water sector — both in the Netherlands and internationally.
An important milestone was the development of our new multi-year strategy “Accelerating Water Knowledge”. During a symposium, we brought together stakeholders from across the water sector to explore the challenges and opportunities ahead. The insights, perspectives and collaborations that emerged from these conversations form an important foundation for our direction in the years to come.
We also took meaningful steps in our education and training programmes and other services. New initiatives were launched, including the KIWI Next programme and renewed kick-off sessions within our drinking water courses. At the same time, positive participant evaluations confirmed the value of practice-oriented learning, quality and personal attention.
In addition, we further expanded our international collaborations. Through diploma ceremonies, sector events and joint initiatives, we once again witnessed the strong commitment and professionalism that characterise our water sector.
Guided by our ambition of accelerating knowledge and skills in the water sector, we continue to work towards our mission: connecting, strengthening and renewing knowledge and expertise for a resilient and future-oriented water sector.
