Official launch ‘Bridging the water: co-create to learn & experience’

The project ‘Bridging the water: co-create to learn & experience’ has officially been launched on the 1st of February at the Durban University of Technology. In the coming three years this project aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice in the South African water sector. Dutch and South African partners co-create solutions in water education to improve water management, water services and the livelihood of citizens. The deputy Mayor of Durban, Ms Fawzia Peer, launched the project by signing an orange ball. Orange for Dutch and for the Orange Knowledge Programme as funding. All collaborating partners signed the ball too and throwed and catched the ball. The ball symbolizes team play, diversity and specialism of the partners, and a joint goal and commitment to the project.
