Inspiring dialogues at World Water Week in Stockholm

This week CEO Gabrielle Knufman was happy to join World Water Week in Stockholm, representing World Water Academy. A unique opportunity for strengthening international partnerships on sustainable water management.

“It was great to reconnect with Sindy Mthimkhulu, Executive Secretary of the Incomati and Maputo Watercourse Commission (INMACOM)”, says Gabrielle Knufman.
“It was inspiring to hear about INMACOM’s strong engagements with SADC experts and many others. They are all working together towards more resilient and collaborative water management. At World Water Academy we are proud to see leaders like Sindy championing inclusive and impactful water diplomacy. We look forward to exploring opportunities for further collaboration in the months ahead!”

Another powerful encounter was the meeting with Hon. Pemmy Majodina, South Africa’s Minister of Water and Sanitation. And with Ramateu Lefty Mofokeng Monyokolo, Chairperson of AWSISA. The dialogue focused on strengthening collaboration and building the capacity of Water Professionals in South Africa. Gabrielle Knufman: “Sharing knowledge and professional development are the cornerstones of sustainable water management. It was energizing to exchange ideas with such dedicated leaders who share this vision.”
